Violet Sunrise was inspired by an early morning walk at Kellar Lake near Kaladar, Ontario in March of 2023. The colour of the sky and the cast violet light on the snow was so unique and the Canadian shield rock and white pines sat ever so quietly waiting for the sun to brighten them up.
