As you ride along Highway 60 in Algonquin Park you get a great view of Smoke Lake on the south side of the highway. It’s a beautiful view that I’ve painted a few times. In this painting I wanted to capture that that subdued misty feel you have after a heavy summer storm when the air is heavy.
